This was a journey where Google Maps estimated our drive time to Lake Ballard as more than 4 hours, so we got up very early to make sure we had time to enjoy the Inside Australia installation. Actually, the drive time was less than 2 hours so we had time to drive north east of Menzies to see more of the Western Australia Goldfields. I have separated these destinations for clarity.
