Liverpool is a mere hour’s drive south from Blackpool, so that was our next and last destination before flying back to Malaysia. We headed strait for the Albert Dock complex and the Beatles Story. It was an excellent exhibition with almost too much information to digest.
There are many museums around the Albert Docks, and we chose to visit the Slavary Museum. Again, this almost had just too much information to take in, so really needs more than one visit.
Liverpool surprised us as being a modern city with plenty of history to explore. We only had time to visit the Albert Dock area, but would love to return in warmer weather to explore further.
