It has been many years since Lawrence and I spent some time in England during the summer, so I thought I would highlight some of the things one can see and do in England in the summer which makes this such a special place to visit. The destinations may seem like an odd combination, but we were here for a funeral so all the locations are related to family matters, with a few detours into London. So, let me introduce you to the delights of the English seaside, focussing on Bridlington, Flamborough, and Scarborough on the East Yorkshire coast, and on Swanage and Chesil on the south coast of Dorset. Then, take a look at how one can enjoy the simple pleasures of a walk in the park.
