Hakodate fish market

Our taxi dropped us off in front of a row of restaurants, but I’m not really into eating fish so early in the morning. We walked around the small streets of the market area, then sat down for some freshly charcoal-cooked scallops and prawns at the restaurant shown below. They have all-you-can-eat-in-a-set-time menus here too.

We did see one lady fishing for a squid, but not sure if she ate this later! Also, there were many stalls selling melons, so you don’t just have to like seafood to stop here, but it helps.
