After doing a bit of shopping, we had time to kill before going to the cinema. So we visited the book shop of the National Gallery and loitered around the Leicester Square area.
On a cold grey day, taking photos at night time makes a city seem even more attractive. It had been years since we had walked down Whitehall from Trafalgar Square towards Westminster Bridge. Big Ben was masked in scaffolding, but still managed to look good.
