Queenstown is full of young people heading out for thrills! We’d booked a two-hour Segway on Q in the afternoon which we thoroughly enjoyed. The sun was shining and we got to travel alongside the lake and through the park where we played frisbee-golf.
Then, we drove out towards Cromwell to find the Cheesery at Gibbston Winery. It was lovely sitting outside in the sunshine eating again!
On the way back to Queenstown, we passed the original bungy jumping site in New Zealand, so stopped to take a look. It had just closed for the day, so we couldn’t try it out! The Kawarau Suspension Bridge was built in 1881, and had been used for bungy jumping for more than 20 years.
