
Uluwatu Temple was established by Mpu Kuturan during the reign of Kong Sri Haji Marakata in 1032. It is one of the most important Hindu temples in Bali and is located on a stunning piece of coastline on western Bali. As temples go, there was not much to see, so we walked along the coastal path, accompanied by monkeys, and stood watching the magnificent sea pounding the shore below.
