The Sungai Menyala Edu-Ecotourism Centre in Port Dickson has recently undergone a rebranding so that visitors can remember its name! It is now more simply known as the PDForest (Port Dickson Forest). Port Dickson is more well known for its beaches, but it has this huge forest as well, covering 1,280 hectares. There are trails of different lengths, and options for horse riding, cycling, and other activities. When we arrived, the main area was being used for a governmental motivation event, so we just headed for a short walk on the pathway. We were hoping to get photos of sunrays streaming through the dense trees, but not today! It had been raining hard all night, so the forest smelled green!

Our pathway finished here. If we ventured further along the sandy track, that would have taken another 2 hours and we hadn’t had our breakfast yet!

So, we turned around and just breathed in the forest air, listened to the sounds of the forest, and remembered to look upwards and not at our feet.
