Two local artists, Leenda Pedersen and Raneeta Gill, recently set up a business called SOUSE ARTIST. The concept is to have fun, put paint to paper in a non-judemental fashion, all helped along by a glass or two of wine! So Lawrence and I joined seven other ‘artists’ at the La Olla Tapas & Bar at Senibong Cove.

And, since we were in a tapas bar (delicious food by the way), the theme for today was SPAIN. Quite independently, both Lawrence and I chose to draw something to do with a Spanish Bull. The others painted famous buildings, Spanish dancers, flowers, and one painting was purely abstract but in colours one associates with Spain.
We were initially given 2 hours to produce our masterpieces, but this was extended another hour. It was a very enjoyable afternoon, and now I have figured out how to use the paint, I hope to be able to do this again some time. Below are our masterpieces! And below is a litle video Lawrence made of the day’s event.
