Batu Caves The Batu Caves are a prime tourist destination of visitors to Kuala Lumpur. The cave houses a major Hindu Temple and is packed during the extravagant Thaipusam festival in the new year. I have presently mislaid my photos and had hoped to revisit the site in August 2020, but it was still closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Kuala Selangor  This is the old capital city of Selangor, with a museum and lighthouse perched on a hill overlooking the Straits of Melaka. You will find plenty of monkeys up here waiting to be fed by tourists!

Morib Its claim to fame lies in being the site of one of the first landing points on the west coast of Malaysia for the British and Indian Liberation forces during the end of World War II in 1945.

Paya Indah Wetlands  This huge park ('beautiful swamp') was first established in 1998 on land which had been used for tin mining and sand dredging activities. Its good for walking, cycling, etc.

Sekinchan  February is perhaps not the best time to see the rice paddy fields, so chose a time when the lush yellow/green shoots of rice are sprouting everywhere. It is a quite beautiful landscape.
