Bintulu This is not your normal tourist destination, but still interesting none the less.

Off to Bintulu! [April 2019]

Kuching Where a one-stop destination with everything! The city has good food, plenty of bars, and a lively river walk. The Cultural Village shows you the rural way of life in the past, and the Brooke Gallery shows you the history of the White Raja of Sarawak, and the dominance of several generations of the Brooke family over the ’natives'. There is a nature reserve too where you can see orangutans, but we did not visit there.

Niah Caves While the Mulu Caves are more famous, the Niah Caves are still worth a visit. There is a long forest walk to the caves, then three large caves to walk through. This is a hard walk as you do need enough energy for the return walk. The deepest cave has rock art and wooden coffin death ships
