Day 8 - Jerai Hill to Alor Setar, via Bujang Valley

Some of the rain clouds had disappeared this morning, so we wandered around the Jerai Hill Resort to take a few more photos of the view. Then we drove down the very steep windy road, and squeezed passed a fallen tree (from the rain and wind last night), then we were back in the beautiful valley around Yan, with all the paddyfields. This region really is very pretty indeed. Our main goal today (29th July, 2020) was to visit the Bujang Valley Archeological Site and learn about the ancient history of Kedah. Our final destination was Alor Setar (pronounced Alor Star) and the unexpected delight of going up the observation tower as night fell.
